Registration and Displays
When you came in the first fellow you met was Jim Maus at the registration table
Whoever is in the FFF WSCFFF booth can answer a lot of your questions and sign you up as a member of FFF
Here Leland Miyawaki is checking some of the stuff in the booth.
Carl Johnson, WSCFFF 1st V.P. West and Treasurer was often in the WSCFFF booth.
The trophies that the best in the various casting events would take home served as an incentive to do the best they can.
Right next to the trophy table was Michelle Tuengle tying table.
Need a rod? Loomas brought a whole bunch of them.
And there were quite a few people checking them out.
Michell Tuengle can whip out a size 26 fly as easily as a 2/0 steelhead pattern.
Her display of flies was most impressive.
Leland Miyawaki on the other hand was probably tying his effective beach patterns for sea run cutthroat.
Leland has some distractions, I think it's T-shirts, next to him.
You can always check raffle or silent auction items. Then buy lots of tickets for the raffle.
I don't know what is going here, but they look happy.

Lunch is one time everybody can agree on especially when there are great smells coming from the barbie.
All cooking was by the Elk's Club people
Everybody enjoy
I am not sure but I think that is the WSCFFF first lady.

Here on are some of the class pictures
John Reid had a class of beginning fly casters.
Almost everybody is listening to John.
In the beginning everybody needs a little extra help.
Now everybody hit that little yellow card.
Don Simonson's casting class.
Don Simonson showing people how to do it.
Jimmy LeMert showing a fine detail of rod handling.
I had to ask Marilyn Vitale: "Why are you standing on a box?" That is the closest thing she had to a flats boat for her class. You stand above the water to cast.
High above all the class are here, but the beginning class is the easiest to find.

Now we get to the competitive and fun games part of the 2005 NWFC Exposition.
High view of the competition area.
This has to be an accuracy cast of some sort.
He must be winding up for a distance cast.
He has power in his backcast, a lot of line has jumped off the ground.
Watch the backcast.
Forward and let it go, go, go, go (maybe not that far).
Another shot for distance.
Another distance cast.
On some of these fun games this is the way you do it.
Now at this station in the Danish Games you should-----.
All you have to do is throw the line and leader through the ring.
A participant in the Danish Games.
Another Danish Games participant.
Somebody has to keep score. Might as well be comfortable.
There is always time to talk about the scoring process.
